Getting started

Do I need to create an account?

Yes, to save and sync your data. Demo Mode lets you explore sample information before creating an account.

Do I need a wearable or Box Altitude device?

No. You can manually log altitude, build plans, record blood checkpoints and use the AI Coach. Connections add automatic data and reduce manual entry.

Wearable connections

Which sources can I connect?

Apple Health, Oura and Strava are currently supported in the beta. Other integrations shown as planned on the homepage are not yet live.

I connected a source but no data is showing
  • Apple Health: check iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Oxygen Coach and confirm the requested categories are enabled.
  • Oura or Strava: disconnect and reconnect from Profile to refresh authorisation.
  • Overnight metrics need at least one complete night before they can appear.
Which source is used if more than one is connected?

The app lets you select a preferred overnight source and can use another authorised source to fill gaps when appropriate.

Box Altitude device

How do I pair a Box Altitude sensor?

Open Profile, enter the Sensor ID under Box Altitude Device and tap Connect. The Sensor ID is shown in the Box Altitude app under Settings.

My session was not detected

Auto-detection requires a sustained period at altitude. You can always use the + button to log the session manually.

Coach access

How do I invite a coach?

Open Profile → Coaches, enter the coach's email and select the categories you want to share. The coach must sign in using the same email address and accept the invitation.

Can the coach see all my data?

No. Access is permission-based. You can share altitude sessions, overnight response, profile and adaptation information, and blood-test checkpoints independently. You can change or revoke access.

Blood baselines

Are blood results interpreted medically?

No. The app provides altitude-performance context and general educational guidance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or prescribe treatment. Blood work and iron supplementation should be reviewed with an appropriately qualified clinician.

Plans and AI Coach

How are altitude plans built?

Plans use profile information, exposure history and the athlete's goal to propose ramp, hold and taper phases. The user can edit, reschedule or delete planned sessions.

What can I ask the AI Coach?

You can ask about your own training, blood markers, exposure and overnight response. Relevant data is summarised and sent to the AI provider to generate a response; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Account, data and pricing

Is Oxygen Coach free?

The app is currently free during private testing. Future plans and pricing may change before public release.

How do I export or delete data?

Use the data controls in Profile. You can export a copy, remove imported information or delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for further detail.
